About Covent Garden

Covent Garden is one of the most famous stations on the network, its name synonymous with the historic market, street performers and world-class cultural institutions immediately above and around it. The station has no lifts and extremely long, busy escalators - TfL actively discourages its use except for people who need it, recommending walking from Leicester Square or Holborn instead.
