Upton Park

Upton Park is a Zone 3 station on the District and Hammersmith & City lines in Newham, east London. The station was for decades the closest tube to West Ham United's Boleyn Ground — that ground has now been demolished and the site redeveloped, but the area retains its football identity through the community. Green Street, running north from the station, is one of east London's best streets for South Asian clothing, jewellery, food and fabric — a vibrant and authentic market-style strip that draws shoppers from across the borough and beyond.
