About Whitechapel

Whitechapel is one of east London's most culturally diverse stations, serving a neighbourhood long associated with immigration and regeneration. The area is famous for Brick Lane (Bengali restaurant street and bagel bakeries), Whitechapel Gallery (contemporary art) and its complex Victorian history. The Elizabeth Line has dramatically reduced journey times from here to central London and Heathrow.
