About Shinjuku

Shinjuku is the busiest railway station in the world, handling over 3.5 million passengers daily across 50+ platforms serving multiple rail and metro operators. The station complex is so large it has its own internal maps - allow extra time for connections. Surrounding the station are two completely different worlds: the neon-lit Kabukicho entertainment district to the north-east and the high-end Shinjuku department stores and Shinjuku Gyoen garden to the south.
