About Greenwich

Greenwich DLR station is one of two options for reaching Greenwich town centre (the other being Cutty Sark), serving the eastern part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The station sits close to Greenwich Church Street with its excellent restaurants and the entrance to Greenwich Park -one of London's eight Royal Parks, with 183 acres of gardens, deer, the Royal Observatory and stunning panoramic views over the Docklands and City skyline from the top of the hill. Greenwich has been an important site since Roman times and the town's combination of heritage, market culture and waterfront pubs makes it one of London's most rewarding day-trip destinations.
