Ar Rabi Metro StationARB

Ar Rabi Metro Station is a two-line interchange in northern Riyadh where the Yellow Line airport express and the Purple Line residential corridor run parallel before diverging. It sits in a well-established upper-middle-income residential district north of the Olaya axis, and serves as a useful transfer point for residents heading either toward the airport or down through the Purple Line corridor toward KAFD and the city centre.

Station Overview

Elevated Zone 1 interchange on Yellow Line (Line 4) and Purple Line (Line 6). Northern section of both lines, between KAFD to the south and the airport stations to the north on the Yellow Line. Opened 2024.

Lines and Connectivity

Yellow Line runs north toward the airport (Terminals 5, 3&4, 1&2) and south toward SABIC, Uthman Bin Affan Road, and KAFD. Purple Line runs south toward SABIC, Uthman Bin Affan Road, Al Hamra (Red Line), and An Naseem.

Travel Tips

• Transfer Yellow to Purple Line here for residential corridor journeys without going all the way to KAFD.
• Northbound Yellow Line reaches the airport in approximately 15 minutes from here.
• Transfers are free within the 2-hour Darb card journey window.
