About PNU 1 Metro Station

PNU 1 Metro Station is the first of two Yellow Line stations serving Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) - the world's largest women's university by student enrollment, with over 60,000 students. The PNU campus is a city within a city, spanning more than 8 square kilometres northeast of the city centre. The metro connection here is enormously significant: it gives tens of thousands of students and staff a direct, affordable, and dignified transit link to the rest of Riyadh.

Station Overview

Elevated Zone 2 Yellow Line station. First of two PNU stations on the Yellow Line, between SABIC to the northwest and PNU 2 to the northeast (airport direction). Opened 2024.

Lines and Connectivity

Yellow Line only. Southbound toward SABIC and KAFD (Blue and Purple interchange). Northbound toward PNU 2, the airport terminals, and onward to Ar Rabi.
