About Hauz Khas
Hauz Khas Metro Station is a colossal, multi-level underground interchange hub where the historic Yellow Line meets the modern Magenta Line. With the addition of the Magenta Line concourse in 2018, Hauz Khas transformed into one of the deepest and busiest stations in the entire Delhi Metro network. Plunging to a depth of 29 meters, the new section required extraordinary engineering to build beneath the existing operational Yellow Line without disrupting service.
