History of the Delhi Metro
Delhi Metro began operations in December 2002 with the Red Line. Since then, it has grown into one of the largest networks in the world. The system is currently in its Phase 4 expansion, which adds over 100 km of new lines and extensions, including the high-priority Golden Line connecting Tughlakabad to Aerocity.
