About Punjabi Bagh West

Punjabi Bagh West Metro Station is one of Delhi Metro's newer interchange stations, connecting the Green Line with the Pink Line. It opened in 2022 as part of the Phase 3 Pink Line extension, significantly improving east-west and north-west connectivity for residents of Punjabi Bagh, Tagore Garden, and Madipur.

The station is elevated and modern, built to the latest DMRC standards with wide platforms, full accessibility, and efficient interchange design. Its opening gave the Punjabi Bagh area a direct Pink Line connection to Mayur Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, and beyond - drastically cutting journey times across the city.
