About Debden

Debden station is a functional Central line stop in Essex, serving the Debden housing estate in the parish of Loughton. The station was built in the late 1940s as part of the TfL expansion of the Central line into Essex, arriving at around the same time as the post-war housing estates that created the local population it now serves. It is a working commuter station with a large car park that makes it attractive as a park-and-ride point for Central line users from the wider Epping area.
