About Northwood

Northwood station serves the affluent outer London suburb of Northwood in the London Borough of Hillingdon, a well-regarded residential area in the Green Belt with a pleasant high street and good access to woodland walking in Copse Wood and the surrounding Hertfordshire countryside. The town has a community character that feels more like a prosperous Chilterns village than a typical tube suburb, and the surrounding streets of large houses and mature trees give the area a distinctive character in this part of outer north-west London.
