SABIC Metro Station

SABIC Metro Station provides direct metro access to the global headquarters of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation - one of the world's largest petrochemical companies and a critical pillar of the Saudi economy. The SABIC campus in northern Riyadh employs thousands of staff across research, management, and corporate functions, and the metro connection here has materially improved daily commuting for this workforce.

Station Overview

Elevated Zone 1 two-line station on Yellow and Purple lines. Last shared station before the Purple Line continues south without the Yellow Line. Between Uthman Bin Affan Road to the north and KAFD to the south. Opened 2024.

Lines and Connectivity

Yellow Line continues south to KAFD and then northbound to the airport. Purple Line continues south toward Al Hamra (Red Line interchange) and the eastern residential arc. After SABIC, the Yellow and Purple lines diverge - Yellow Line southbound goes directly to KAFD via PNU; Purple Line southbound takes a different route through Khurais Road toward Al Hamra.
