ADCB

ADCB Station is Dubai's most direct metro gateway to world-class retail. The station was designed with shopping in mind - in some cases with air-conditioned covered walkways connecting directly to the mall - and it reflects the city's identity as a destination built around commercial ambition and retail spectacle.

Dubai's malls are not merely shopping centres but full entertainment and leisure complexes, typically including cinemas, restaurants, outdoor terraces, ice rinks and, in the case of Mall of the Emirates, an indoor ski slope. Station Overview

ADCB Station opened in 2009 on the Dubai Metro's Red Line. It is in Zone 6 of the NOL fare system. The Dubai Metro operates fully automated, driverless trains on elevated and underground tracks, offering a fast and reliable alternative to road travel across the city.

Lines and Connectivity

The Red Line serves ADCB, connecting it to the rest of the Dubai Metro network. From here, passengers can reach central Dubai, the airport, the Marina and all major interchanges along the route.

ADCB Station is a modern, air-conditioned facility typical of the Dubai Metro. Facilities include toilets, ATMs, a NOL card top-up machine and a staffed customer service point. Retail kiosks and cafes are available at larger stations. Gold Class carriages at the front of each train offer a premium travel option. Women and children have a dedicated carriage in the middle of the train.

Accessibility

ADCB Station has lifts and step-free access throughout, in line with the Dubai Metro's system-wide accessibility standards. Tactile paving and audio announcements assist visually impaired passengers. All platforms have safety screen doors for passenger security.

• Get a NOL card for easy travel - it works across metro, bus, tram and marine transport and costs AED 25 including AED 19 credit.
• Gold Class carriages (front of train) require a Gold Class NOL card or ticket - standard cards cannot be used.
• Women and children have a dedicated carriage in the middle of the train - clearly marked on the platform.
• The metro runs Saturday to Wednesday 05:30-24:00, Thursday 05:30-01:00, Friday 10:00-01:00.

Timings and Best Time to Travel

Dubai Metro services at ADCB run Saturday to Wednesday 05:30-24:00, Thursday 05:30-01:00, and Friday 10:00-01:00. Rush hours are 07:30-09:30 and 17:00-19:30 on weekdays. Midmorning and early afternoon are the quietest periods. Friday evenings and weekends see higher leisure travel, particularly to mall and waterfront stations.
