About Dagenham Heathway

Dagenham Heathway station serves the Heathway shopping area in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, one of the main commercial centres of the Dagenham community. The station is on the District line's eastern branch heading towards Upminster, serving a post-war residential borough with a proud working-class and manufacturing heritage - the Ford Dagenham plant, once one of the largest in Europe, operated nearby for decades.
