About Kingsbury

Kingsbury station is one of the more rewarding Jubilee line outer stops for nature lovers and food enthusiasts alike. The station is the gateway to Fryent Country Park - a 254-acre nature reserve of ancient meadows, hedgerows and woodland on a ridge that gives panoramic views across London on clear days. The park is managed as a nature reserve and contains some of London's most species-rich ancient grassland, with wildflowers, butterflies and birds in numbers that are genuinely unusual for an area this close to a Zone 4 tube station. The Welsh Harp reservoir is also nearby, adding birdwatching and waterside walking to the options.

Kingsbury's local high road has an excellent concentration of Indian and Sri Lankan restaurants that serve the area's substantial South Asian community, making this a worthwhile stop for those who prioritise good value authentic food.
