About Latimer Road

Latimer Road station is a Circle and Hammersmith and City line stop in North Kensington, known as the nearest Underground station to Grenfell Tower - the residential block where a catastrophic fire on 14 June 2017 killed 72 people, the worst structural fire in the UK since the Second World War. The tower is visible from the surrounding streets and the community's ongoing campaign for justice and accountability has kept Grenfell central to public consciousness in the years since.
