South Kenton is a quiet suburban interchange on the Bakerloo line and London Overground, sitting in the residential stretch between North Wembley and Kenton on the north-west corridor out of Paddington. The station is primarily a local commuter stop, serving the houses and streets of South Kenton and the neighbouring Preston area. For visitors, it offers a calm alternative to the busier Wembley stations, though there is little in the immediate vicinity to draw a specific visit.

Kenton - one stop north. The local town centre with a small parade of shops and restaurants. The nearby Woodcock Hill Village Green is a pleasant local landmark.
Harrow-on-the-Hill - several stops north on the Bakerloo. The historic hilltop town with Harrow School, the Harrow Arts Centre and good independent restaurants.
Bakerloo line and Overground services at South Kenton run from approximately 05:30 to midnight Monday to Saturday and 07:00 to 23:30 on Sundays. Night Tube operates on the Bakerloo line on Friday and Saturday nights. Outside rush hours, the station is very quiet.
