Abu Hail

Abu Hail serves a long-settled residential district in the heart of Deira, the kind of neighbourhood where families have lived for years and daily life revolves around local shopping centres, mosques and small businesses. It is an everyday station rather than a tourist stop, and the pace here is calmer than at the bigger interchanges further along the Green Line.

Station Overview

Abu Hail opened in 2011 on the Dubai Metro Green Line and sits in Zone 6 of the NOL fare system. It is an elevated station on a viaduct, served by the network's fully automated, driverless trains.

Lines and Connectivity

Abu Hail is a Green Line station. Trains run towards Al Qiyadah and the Etisalat by e& terminus in one direction, and towards Abu Baker Al Siddique and the underground Deira heritage stops in the other. To reach the Red Line, change at Union or BurJuman.

Station Layout and Structure

Abu Hail is an elevated station with lifts, escalators and stairs from the concourse to the platform. Facilities cover the essentials, with toilets, ATMs, NOL top-up machines and a staffed service point. Gold Class carriages are at the front of each train and a women and children carriage runs in the middle.

Accessibility

Abu Hail has full step-free access, with lifts between street level, the concourse and the platform. Tactile paving, audio announcements and platform screen doors are all in place, in line with the network's standards.
