About Discovery Gardens

Discovery Gardens Station serves a growing residential community in Dubai, providing metro connectivity for a district that has developed significantly since the station's opening. The surrounding area has apartment towers, villa communities and community retail, with a large daily commuter population heading into central Dubai or the business districts.

The Dubai Metro's expansion into newer residential areas reflects the city's strategy of reducing car dependency and providing public transport alternatives for the populations living further from the historic core. The air-conditioned infrastructure is a genuine practical benefit in Dubai's climate.
