About The Gardens

The Gardens Station serves a growing residential community in Dubai, providing metro connectivity for a district that has developed significantly since the station's opening. The surrounding area has apartment towers, villa communities and community retail, with a large daily commuter population heading into central Dubai or the business districts.

The Dubai Metro's expansion into newer residential areas reflects the city's strategy of reducing car dependency and providing public transport alternatives for the populations living further from the historic core. The air-conditioned infrastructure is a genuine practical benefit in Dubai's climate.

The Gardens Station opened in 2021 on the Dubai Metro's Red Line. It is classified as Zone 2 under the NOL card fare system. The Dubai Metro is a fully automated, driverless system operating on elevated viaducts and underground sections, offering fast, reliable and air-conditioned travel across the city.
