There is more here than consulting rooms, though. The station sits close to the green edge of Dubai Creek Park, one of the city's largest and best-loved open spaces, and the Creekside setting means you are never far from the water. From the park's waterfront you can even join a Wonder Bus tour, an amphibious ride that trundles down the ramp and out onto the Creek, which makes this a surprisingly fun stop for families.

Dubai Healthcare City Station opened in 2011 on the Dubai Metro's Green Line. It sits in Zone 6 of the NOL fare system. The Dubai Metro runs fully automated, driverless trains, and this is an elevated station raised above the road on a viaduct.

Lines and Connectivity

Dubai Healthcare City is a Green Line station. One way the line runs towards Oud Metha and Bur Dubai, and the other way it heads towards Al Jadaf and the Creek terminus. It is not an interchange, so for the Red Line you change at BurJuman or Union.

Station Layout and Structure

The station is elevated, with lifts, escalators and stairs carrying passengers from the concourse up to the platforms. Facilities include toilets, ATMs, NOL top-up machines and a staffed service point. Gold Class carriages sit at the front of each train and a women and children carriage runs in the middle, both marked on the platform.

Accessibility

Dubai Healthcare City has full step-free access, with lifts between street level, the concourse and the platforms. Tactile paving, audio announcements and platform screen doors are all in place, which suits the many visitors arriving for medical appointments who may need level, barrier-free routes.
