History

Line 4 is the main trunk of Mumbai's Green corridor from Wadala to Kasarvadavali. According to MMRDA's current project overview, the corridor is 32.32 km long with 30 stations and is intended to knit together the Eastern Express Highway belt, Central Railway catchments, Monorail links and several new metro interchanges. Trial activity has taken place on the broader Line 4 and 4A package, but the corridor is still in the under-construction stage for normal passenger use.
