About the Line 6 (Pink)

Connects Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli.

History

Line 6 follows the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road corridor, one of Mumbai's most frustrating cross-city road routes. MMRDA describes it as a 15.31 km fully elevated line with 13 stations, designed to connect western districts, the Western Express Highway side, Powai and the eastern expressway catchment around Vikhroli. Because it intersects several other metro corridors, it is expected to become one of the network's most practical commuting lines once complete.
