About the Line 2A (Yellow)

The primary north-south link along the western Link Road, connecting Dahisar East to DN Nagar (Andheri West).

History

Line 2A, the first phase of the Yellow Line, was inaugurated in phases between 2022 and 2023. Developed by MMRDA, it serves as a critical alternative to the heavily congested Link Road and the Western Express Highway. By connecting the northern suburb of Dahisar to the commercial hub of Andheri West, it has significantly reduced travel times for residents of Borivali, Kandivali, and Malad.
